Once you have found the right breeder, you will finally be able to take your puppy at home with you. Check him very carefully: Puppy must respond to your touch. He must follow, with his eyes, your finger and react to sounds. He must be clean, especially inside the ears.
There are some simple tests you should do with him:
- Turn him on the back and put a hand on his chest, the puppy should try to lick your hand;
- Move away some meter from him and clap your hands to call the puppy; He should come to you;
- Caress the puppy from the head to the tail; He should turn his head and lick your hand;
- Lift the puppy with your hand; The puppy should try to lick you.
These tests allow you also to understand the temper of the dog.
